New elevated deck provides protection for many shade-loving plantings and dramatic view of the Bay and distant hills. Tall trellises along garden's side and back support Dutchman's Pipe Vines and mitigate view of surrounding chockablock architecture. Potted plants provide solutions for corners with extra sun or shade. After initial extensive weed removal, subsequent annual blitzes gradually reduced remnant weed bulbs and seeds.
