Owner Peigi Duvall grew up in Monterey, California, and has been playing in California's natural beauty ever since. She recently returned to the Central Coast after practicing in Silicon Valley for 14 years and currently designs residential landscapes throughout the greater Monterey Bay region. Her drought tolerant and environmentally conscious designs have been seen on the Going Native Garden Tour, Bay Friendly Garden Tour, Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour, UCCE Master Gardeners of San Mateo & San Francisco Counties Educational Garden Tour, and San Mateo Arboretum Society Garden Tour.
Peigi is a certified member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD), a Bay Friendly Qualified Landscaper (BFQL), as well as a member of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA). She teaches courses through Stanford Continuing Studies on sustainable landscaping with native plants and has given topical presentations for the California Native Plant Society (CNPS), Bay Area Water Service and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA), and other organizations throughout the state. From 2004 - 2009 she served as state level Horticulture Program Director for CNPS and currently serves on the CNPS Horticulture Committee. She earned her certificate in Environmental Horticulture and Design from Foothill College and is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy.
